When I received in invitation to try Green Belly Meal2Go, I thought, “Why not?” A nutritionally balanced meal bar would make a good addition to food storage. When Apt Prepper Daughter got a FoodSaver for Christmas, I was excited for her to try it.
She did the most basic test to see whether meat frozen in a FoodSaver pack would last longer than meat that was frozen in a zip lock bag.

We want to add to our preparedness fund, but the budget is tight.
I mentioned in an earlier post we cancelled cable and found several free or lower cost alternatives. It’s been a couple of years and we do not miss it at all. I actually wish we had done it sooner.
