Hunkering Down Awaiting Hurricane Harvey

This post is by Bernie Carr, apartmentprepper.com Just a quick post today…  As I write this, The National Weather Service has upgraded Hurricane Harvey to a category 3 hurricane.  It is now considered a major hurricane, capable of damaging small homes and buildings.  In contrast, Hurricane Ike, which got me started on emergency preparedness was a category 2 storm, and the damage was bad enough.
