I hope to encourage everyone to keep up your preparedness efforts and continue learning new skills. If you are new, congratulations on getting started. No matter where you are in this journey, I appreciate you visiting Apartment Prepper.
Preparedness to me is living a life of being ready for whatever life throws at us. No one wishes to see bad things such as natural or man made disasters, financial upheavals, health threats, or civil unrest come to pass. But they have been known to happen; we just don’t knows when. Being prepared helps you deal with emergencies, as well as alleviate insecurity and anxiety about unpredictable events.
“Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.”
Theodore Roosevelt
For anyone who is just starting out, or if you’ve been trying to get prepared but are unsatisfied with where you are, take comfort in the fact that you are doing what we can. I have had frustrations myself, and who hasn’t, but whenever I feel low, I think about the quote above and it calms me down.
Take whatever small steps you can do and get prepared for whatever emergencies you anticipate. The benefits are not limited to major occurrences. Your supplies and skills can help you in your daily life, as well as tide you over in the event of personal emergencies such as unemployment, illness or other financial setbacks. I’ve actually used part of my stockpile this past year to offset buying at such high prices.
What you can expect from Apartment Prepper
I will keep writing and sharing tips to help small space dwellers live a prepared life, DIY self-sufficiency projects that can be done in a small space, plus more money saving tips… because we can all use them. Let’s welcome the New Year 2024 and prepare together.
Happy New Year!
