And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Luke 2:10
Lately there has been a lot of negativity in the news and social media. The news the way it’s reported tend to divide us, making us feel isolated. The world appears to be separated into groups according to ideology, politics, religion, beliefs. But when you get people together, we find we have a lot more in common on a personal level. Divisive reporting results in more clicks and spread like wildfire, fueling more hate.
This Christmas, let’s step away from all this and focus on the good in the world. Interact with people on a one of one basis, not letting differing opinions flare up into arguments. Set aside your differences, or maybe just agree to disagree.
Be grateful for your blessings and enjoy the company of family and friends. Give yourself a break and practice self-care.
Thanks for stopping by and letting me be part of your day.
In the spirit of the season, I’d like to share this video. Nice to know there are still a lot of good people around. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkPuYa563N0
