We Need Your Support to Keep Our Blog Alive

Today’s post, which was originally sent as an email to our email subscribers, is an urgent plea for your support. Since March, 2011, Apartment Prepper has striven to provide you with insightful content, practical advice, and common sense strategies to prepare for emergencies, both large and small. However, we are facing some financial challenges that jeopardize the future of our blog.

What is going on?

Maintaining a blog requires a considerable amount of time, effort, and resources. From writing articles to managing the website’s infrastructure, I have poured my heart and soul into delivering useful content. I have always aimed to offer a unique perspective, one that is geared for anyone interested in preparedness who happens to live in a small space.

Today’s societal climate is not favorable to preppers

Unfortunately, it seems that tech companies that run search engines such as Google and Bing do not favor prepping sites such as mine. I can no longer write about any topic; if I write about subjects that are not compliant with what topics the search engines recommend, the article DOES NOT listed in search results, and therefore doesn’t get any views. No views, no revenue.

As the operating costs have increased and earning streams have diminished, it has become a struggle to sustain the blog’s operations. The current financial climate, coupled with my health issues has made it increasingly difficult to cover essential expenses such as hosting, maintenance, and content creation.
